BEHIND THE CAMERA

I have always loved storytelling ever since I was little… whether that was writing my own books or filming my own music videos using my twin sister Jamie as the star. My love of writing and creativity led me to study Journalism at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In college, I quickly discovered my passion for video. Right after graduation, I moved to Des Moines to start my career in video production. One day I decided to purchase my own camera. Eventually, I came to the realization that I could take my storytelling skills down a new, but similar path… photography! I absolutely love capturing moments, whether that is the love between you and your significant other, the excitement of a newborn baby, or a happy family. I live for these moments.
